What is Coventry Compliments?

Health insurance simply can't cover everything, it would be too expensive. Coventry Compliments saves members money on items that insurance doesn't cover through discounts with contracted providers. It is important to understand that Coventry Compliments isn't insurance; it simply arranges better pricing for members who pay the contracted provider directly.

Is There an Additional Charge for the Program?

No, all covered members have access to the Coventry Compliments program at no additional charge.

How do I Identify Myself to Receive Discounts?

Simply identify yourself by showing merchants and providers your Coventry Health Care Member identification card. Some services allow members to shop via telephone or on-line. When shopping on-line, the Coventry Compliments web site links you directly to our provider's web sites so there is no need to enter your member number.

Are the Discounts Retroactive on Previously Purchased Health Club Memberships?

Occasionally, we'll hear of a Member that has joined a health club and then found out they were eligible for Coventry Compliments pricing. In this case, please talk with the health club directly; some clubs will grant the preferred pricing retroactively, others won't.

How are Services Paid For?

As non-covered services, you pay directly for any service you receive. Unless other arrangements are made with the provider, your payment is expected at the time of service.

Are Coventry Compliments Discounts and Services Covered Benefits?

No. Coventry Compliments goods and services are not covered or paid for by Coventry Health Care. Purchases of goods and services through the Coventry Compliments program does not affect the cost of insurance coverage, count towards deductibles, etc. We are simply using our purchasing power to secure favorable terms on goods and services.
